My new Niece-to-be!

These are the diaper cakes, decorations, and party favors I made for my sister's baby shower. I really love these cakes. She still hasn't taken it apart!

Here are the small dollar candles from Walmart. Wrap it in a flower and it's an instant gift!

Here is the purse that I made into a manicure kit. I got the svg file from Denise at Paper Pastime. She is amazing! Please go visit her site!

Hairbow Extravaganza

I've decided that I'm going to do the local community market and try to sell some of my stuff, which basically means I've been crafting ALL WEEKEND. I'm excited, wish me luck!

Here are the hairbows I made. So simple, so in, and soo cute!

Getting crafty with Valentine's Day

It's not the easiest to walk into a store and find your man something for Valentine's Day that isn't cheesy and typical. So, this Vday I decided to get crafty. I made my man an "I love you because" blow pop flower bouquet. It's so easy to make, it's cheap, but it shows how much you care for your valentine. Each leaf has a different reason written on it explaining the reasons why I love him. This idea is so cute that I might adapt it for different holidays. I also made a homemade card, LOVE it! What do you think???

I used ten lollipops to create this and it was the perfect amount. I got the little tin from Walmart for $1.50, picked up the styrofoam green thing for about $1.00, four 12x12 sheets of paper and some scrap ribbon! Very cheap but awesome! Oh yeah, and the blow pops, of course!

Baby name collage

While browsing some of my favorite bloggers, I stumbled upon Amy's lovely baby name collages. They were so cute and I just HAD to try to do one for my niece-to-be. Since I couldn't find a 21" x 9" shadow box like Amy used, I created a 12" x 12" one.

Here is the link to her blog. Thanks for the inspiration Amy!
